September/October Canadian Blog Hop

Welcome to our Canadian Blog hop. If you have arrived from Brandi’s blog then you are on the right path. Read on and at the bottom, there will be a link for your next stop- and don’t forget to leave some love in the form of a comment.

Well, another school year has begun and with that comes first-day photos!! Since I also work in a school and have to leave on the first day WAY before my kids we usually only get second-day photos (but we can pretend right?!).

I used our new line, Smarty Pants, to make the school pictures pop. Cardstock, paper pack, stickers and Picture my Life cards are all part of this page. I also added some of our FANTASTIC new acrylic letters- this will be a favourite for titles this year.

My daughter’s page uses more from the Smarty Pants line. For a different twist I added some of the Gloss Spray in Ocean. She saw this page and loved that the letters in the title matched the letters on her shirt- a fun coincidence.

Now hop on over to see what Michelle has on her blog– I cannot wait to see it!

Canadian Blog Hop- May has arrived!

Welcome to the Canadian Blog Hop featuring products from our May/June Idea Book. If you have come from Heather’s blog then you are on the right path. There are so many great things it was hard to choose one thing to feature today- in the end, I decided to showcase the May special, ‘You are Enough.’ You can see all items in this product line here.

For this layout I used one of the patterns in our new Make it From your Heart- Volume 5. I used paper patterns and cardstock that allowed the colours to flow from one colour into another. A mix of regular cardstock and rose gold foil cardstock from You are Enough, was used to create my flowers with our 3D flower thin cut (love this set!).

Can you see the smaller details I added?

Watercolour paints were used to add some spatters in the same colour tones as the paper- this was a fun way to continue on the theme and give some interest to the white cardstock. I also added a generous amount of blue belle pearls- because they are so pretty!

Next, hop on over to Colleen’s blog to see what she has to share. I am sure it will be fantastic!

Blossom has blossomed but only for a limited time!

Hey!!! Welcome back.

Can I just share with you how excited I am that Blossom was brought back for our Bring Back the Pack promotion! The colours in this paper are swoon- worthy and although it is cold and snowy here I still have LOTS of photos from warmer times that are perfect for this paper.

What fun things have I done with this paper? Well read on and maybe I will inspire you to create some pretty thing with Blossom.

PS- to see the paper on my website click HERE. This paper is only available until the end of February AND there are FREE (yes, I said FREE) workshop instructions on my website (see link above).

I was so happy how this page turned out- tangerine is a pretty colour but sometimes too much can just be too much BUT this page is so pretty! I used the Blossom paper pack, coordinating cardstock and the Cherished Blossoms Stamp and Thin Cut set with the addition of some flower sequins to add a bit of sparkle.

This page has a different look and utilizes a lot of the stickers that come with the Blossom paper packet. I also used the Lagoon Shimmer Brush to add some splatter in the background and then added the Floral Sequins to this page as well. I cannot wait to add the perfect photos to these pages!

And of course cards are another pretty creation with the Blossom paper! This one uses the products mentioned above and also the Stamp of the Month- Every Thank You. Check out how this card opens as well- a bit of a hidden surprise.

Remember- Blossom is only available until the end of February or while supplies last.

Happy Crafting!

Happiness Lives Here Paper Suite

Happy New Year!!

What an exciting time it brings- 2021 holds so much promise for all of us. I look forward to seeing it unfold. In the meantime, I will start my new year in my favourite way- crafting! The new product released today will help guide how I spend my time- check out what I have already made with the Happiness Lives Here paper suite.

In this layout I was able to use the Paper, Stickers and Wood Shapes (coloured with my distress oxide inks) to feature a fun family memory from a few years ago. A few Stickles helped to finish it all off!

This layout may be my favourite of what I have completed so far. In this one I used the paper, cardstock, stickers and one of the Pandemic stamp sets that was recently available in our Boxing Week sale. Liquid Pearls and the Serif Alphabet and Die-Cut finished it off perfectly. Another pandemic memory captured from our weird year.

Have you checked out all the new product yet? You can see the online catalogue here.

It’s Showtime!

Step right up to the greatest…

Bundle of products!!

Have you been caught up in the craze of the movie, ‘The Greatest Showman’?

Many have and our Home Office staff were very overwhelmed with the movie and the amazing soundtrack. They were so caught up in all the fun and excitement that it inspired a new stamp set and a bundle of products!

For only $37.95 you can purchase all of the product above (or you can get the stamp set for only $23) and bring the fun of ‘The Greatest Showman’ right to your scrapbook pages!!

Check out the inspiration I found for some of our favourite family memories:

I have been struggling for MONTHS on how to scrapbook Medieval Times- at first I wasn’t sure that the colours would work with my photos but in the end they were the perfect fit!

They were also the perfect fit for my nephew’s birthday party!

AND they will be look wonderful with photos of our trip to Canada’s Wonderland this summer (we got Season’s Passes for Christmas so I know we will have LOTS of fun photos to scrapbook!)

Tell me: What photos do you have left to scrapbook that would look great on these layouts?
