November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop- Illuminate

Welcome to another exciting Stamp of the Month blog hop! Every month we feature the stamp of the month so that you may be inspired by some of the artwork! I hope you find much of that this month!
If you have come from Kami’s blog then you are on the path – have fun and be sure to leave some love!
My first card features paper from the Sarita kit and one of our colonial white die-cut card and envelopes.  I cut the tab off the end of the card and used it to accent the front of my card (where I have stamped the sentiment).  I stamped my lamp image in our dye ink for the lamp post and the pigment ink for the light itself.  This allowed me to use our alcohol markers to colour in my light.  I also used the rock and roll technique for the sentiment. I inked my stamp in autumn terracotta ink and then rolled the edges in honey ink.  I accessorized with some bronze shimmer trim (which I LOVE!)

My second card looks very unlike the first- for this one I used our new sparkle and shine paper from our Holiday Gift Guide- if you are in Canada, you can view the guide here.  I used the sparkle and shine sentiment to add to the feel of a Christmas or holiday card and the little lights to randomly stamp around it.  To accessorize this card I added some silver shimmer trim and some glitter gems inside my random stamping.

November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop: Capture the Date

Welcome to my blog on the blog hop!

Today we are featuring the Capture the Date stamp set- a super cute date/calendar set that can be used in many ways!

For my mini book I used the DE Album pages, Flirty Paper, Autumn Lane accessories, Sparkles, Love Blooms Stamp set, Goldrush ink, New England Ivy ink and of course the stamp of the month!

For this project I decided to focus on all the things that I am thankful for! For me thanksgiving was at the beginning of the month but I feel it is always important to take note of what we have in our lives.

I still have to add some of my photos to finish it off but I am very happy with the result! The best part was that I had to do very LITTLE cutting for this project! All of the shapes in this album are on the CTMH Artiste cartridge- LOVE our cartridges! If you have yet to order yours (or would like to order any of the other items listed in my project) then follow the link to my online website : http://ctmh.com/braemontgomery

    Hi Brae,
Just love your book – great idea to make a “thankful” book. I also love the look and bright colors of your blog. How did you get the beautiful background? When I’m trying to design it on blogger, all the backgrounds appear to be solid colors. I have been playing with the colors but don’t really like any of them.
    Thanks,
    Betty Locco

November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to our November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop featuring “Around the Block” a super cute stamp set that you will be sure to love!! I used the stamp set to create my christmas house on my Home layout pictured above. This set is very versatile as all of the house pieces come seperately so that you can mix and match them any way you like!! Since my layout was a Christmas themed one – I used the Jingle paper, Twinkle brads and some liquid applique to add the snow detailing! Hope you like it!

Now hop on over to Pam’s Blog to check out more stuff!! If you would like to order this stamp set then click here!
