Today my brother’s fiancee, Lianne, came over with some of her bridesmaids and her mother in order to make her wedding invitations. They just got engaged two weeks ago and have decided to have their wedding this September- it did not leave a lot of time to order stuff.
Since it is a fall wedding they wanted to keep that look throughout the wedding- from dresses to the invites. Lianne looked through my card books and fell in love with the above card (it is in Originals on page 75 “Background Bar”). We made 56 of them today!! They turned out very nice!
To get the colour in the leaves I inked the stamp in the lightest colour and then ‘rock n rolled’ the edges of that stamp in a darker colour before stamping. This made the leaves more fall-like!
