Canadian Blog Hop- My Sweet Adventure

Welcome to our Canadian Close to my Heart Blog Hop. We will be showcasing some of the fantastic product from our January-February catalogue. Everyone will have something different but all of it will be fun, crafty and offer lots of inspiration! Now if you have just arrived from Brandi’s blog then you are on your way. Keep reading and hop on over to our next blogger at the end of my post.

Currently, I am really enjoying single page layouts but this one may have to develop a second page at some point (I have WAY more photos to go with it). For now, I am incredibly happy with how our Sweet Safari paper became the perfect paper to accompany the pictures of my daughter’s first time at sleepaway camp. Sweet Safari paper, stickers, cardstock and PUFFY STICKERS (yes they are so awesome!!!) all were used. I also used a special stamp set that will be released to everyone later this week. Can you find where I stamped on my page?

I hope I have inspired you and offered you some ideas using Sweet Safari- check out my blog for other inspirational ideas. Now, it is time to hop on over to the Kim’s blog HERE.

Say ‘Hello’ to the World of Sweet Safari

This colourful, playful paper is everything you need to brighten up your crafts and your day. You will love all the aspects of this paper suite-  pretty prints, cute  stickers, sloths, pretty paper, PUFFY stickers (my 80s child squealed when I saw these)!

It goes without saying that if you have a new bundle of joy in your life then this paper will be the perfect compliment but there are a lot of other ways to use Sweet Safari.

Of course, you could use it to accompany our new special, Hello World. These wooden number discs will coordinate beautifully for scrapbook pages or milestone photos. You could use these in so many other ways too!

Swee Safari can also be used to create some fun layouts that are NOT baby related. I have SOOOOOOO many fun photos from snapchat that will be perfect for this page. I used our hexagon thin-cuts (love them) our serif thin cuts (for the title) and one piece of our mix in paper to pull this together. I really love the look!

Where can you get all this goodness? Well at my SHOP of course!

Blossom has blossomed but only for a limited time!

Hey!!! Welcome back.

Can I just share with you how excited I am that Blossom was brought back for our Bring Back the Pack promotion! The colours in this paper are swoon- worthy and although it is cold and snowy here I still have LOTS of photos from warmer times that are perfect for this paper.

What fun things have I done with this paper? Well read on and maybe I will inspire you to create some pretty thing with Blossom.

PS- to see the paper on my website click HERE. This paper is only available until the end of February AND there are FREE (yes, I said FREE) workshop instructions on my website (see link above).

I was so happy how this page turned out- tangerine is a pretty colour but sometimes too much can just be too much BUT this page is so pretty! I used the Blossom paper pack, coordinating cardstock and the Cherished Blossoms Stamp and Thin Cut set with the addition of some flower sequins to add a bit of sparkle.

This page has a different look and utilizes a lot of the stickers that come with the Blossom paper packet. I also used the Lagoon Shimmer Brush to add some splatter in the background and then added the Floral Sequins to this page as well. I cannot wait to add the perfect photos to these pages!

And of course cards are another pretty creation with the Blossom paper! This one uses the products mentioned above and also the Stamp of the Month- Every Thank You. Check out how this card opens as well- a bit of a hidden surprise.

Remember- Blossom is only available until the end of February or while supplies last.

Happy Crafting!

Happiness Lives Here Paper Suite

Happy New Year!!

What an exciting time it brings- 2021 holds so much promise for all of us. I look forward to seeing it unfold. In the meantime, I will start my new year in my favourite way- crafting! The new product released today will help guide how I spend my time- check out what I have already made with the Happiness Lives Here paper suite.

In this layout I was able to use the Paper, Stickers and Wood Shapes (coloured with my distress oxide inks) to feature a fun family memory from a few years ago. A few Stickles helped to finish it all off!

This layout may be my favourite of what I have completed so far. In this one I used the paper, cardstock, stickers and one of the Pandemic stamp sets that was recently available in our Boxing Week sale. Liquid Pearls and the Serif Alphabet and Die-Cut finished it off perfectly. Another pandemic memory captured from our weird year.

Have you checked out all the new product yet? You can see the online catalogue here.

Making Memories- Covid Style!

Well, this year has been a doozy- and I don’t even need to explain why because everyone has felt it in some way. In Ontario, we have started our second province-wide lockdown in the hopes of curbing the trajectory of this illness. This means the holidays are a little more quiet and relaxed AND it means more time for making memories with my family and spending some quality time in my new craft space.

On my table today? I plan to work on more of my Pandemic album and use our fantastic exclusive stamps to add that special touch. Have you seen these? They were released earlier in the year and have been brought back for just this week during our Boxing Week Sale. So fun!

All of these (and so much more) are available on my website at braemontgomery.ctmh.com

Cross Canada Blog Hop- Summer Vibes

Welcome to the Cross Canada Blog Hop where we will be featuring Summer Vibes! This bright and sunny paper really is all things summer! If you are coming from Pam’s blog then you are on the right path.

I really have enjoyed playing with this paper- and all the cute photos that I have already taken this summer. Extra time at home and with family means lots of great opportunities! For this page I used the Summer Vibes paper, Summer Vibes Acrylic Shapes, Summer Vibes Cricut Collection and our Lemonade Shimmer Brush. It was a super fun layout to put together!

Cross Canada Blog Hop: Stitched Together

Welcome to the Cross Canada Blog Hop!

This month we are featuring Stitched Together and you will be taken across Canada to view projects created by CTMH consultants. If you came from Colleen’s blog then you are on the correct path- click the link at the bottom of my post to be taken to the next blog.

For my project, I really wanted to feature the Stitched Together Cricut Collection that we offer. This sweet set is very inexpensive but really packs a punch with all of its cute shapes! I used this set for my flowers, greenery, hear, peach frame, and the journaling spot. I also used some of the stickers and paper from the Stitched Together paper pack and added some Stickles (waterfall) for a bit of shine!

You can shop this collection on my website here or get this Cricut collection on my affiliate link which is found on the same website but by scrolling to the bottom and clicking on the Cricut logo.

Now it is time to hop on over to Brandi’s blog and see what gorgeous work she has to share!

A World of Colour

This year was supposed to contain a LOT of fun travel- Tahiti and Ireland were two of the big trips I had planned. Sadly, like many, I have had to make do with sticking home and enjoying the world in other ways. It is not all bad. I have enjoyed many of the blessings that this time has given me- and there are many.

One is the time to craft! With no busy schedule I have been able to spend time doing what I love and how beautiful is that. These cards remind me of what could have been (and hopefully will be in 2021) and the joy that is.

All of these cards were created using the Stamp and Thin Cut that is exclusive to our Aurora Cardmaking Workshop Kit.

I have not been able to get enough of this set! No matter what I pair it with the end result is always fantastic!

So, what have you been doing to keep busy over the last two months? I would love to hear from you so post below.
