Slimline Celebration- all the ‘adorableness’ you could want!!

Absolutely this is a set that I have thoroughly enjoyed having!!! I know I will return to this one again and again. The images are adorable and fun and they allow me to colour- something I find very relaxing. These stamps and thin cuts are part of our current special- Slimline Celebration. You can purchase the pieces as a bundle and save some money OR you can purchase just the items you want.

Just look at the cute things you can make!!! They even work well on scrapbook pages.

Who can resist fantastic new product?? Not me!

I have to admit, I like nothing better than a new release of fantastic products, and the new book that came out March 1st did NOT disappoint! You can see the online catalogue HERE.

From the papers to the thin cuts to the stamps – every item is hard to resist and I have had SO much fun playing in my craft room. Check out some of the fun stuff that I have created below.

These two cards use our Build-a-rainbow thin-cut. In the top card, I stamped the rainbow pieces with the Charming Background stamp (tone on tone stamping) to create a bit of visual interest. You don’t have to go overboard with this thin-cut- it stands out on its own really well!

This card was so fun to make! The Kitchen Gnome stamp and thin-cuts are unique, adorable and a MUST HAVE! I paired it with our Eat, Play, Love paper suite and wooden shapes (they are so detailed and just adorable!).

This card was my latest creation- made just this morning. It reminds me of good times with my friends (something that I look forward to doing someday soon). The Cheers my Dears stamp set allows you to practice your colouring skills as well. I was even able to add a cute salt rim on the margarita using the diamond stickles. YUMM!

What is your favourite item in the new book?

A World of Colour

This year was supposed to contain a LOT of fun travel- Tahiti and Ireland were two of the big trips I had planned. Sadly, like many, I have had to make do with sticking home and enjoying the world in other ways. It is not all bad. I have enjoyed many of the blessings that this time has given me- and there are many.

One is the time to craft! With no busy schedule I have been able to spend time doing what I love and how beautiful is that. These cards remind me of what could have been (and hopefully will be in 2021) and the joy that is.

All of these cards were created using the Stamp and Thin Cut that is exclusive to our Aurora Cardmaking Workshop Kit.

I have not been able to get enough of this set! No matter what I pair it with the end result is always fantastic!

So, what have you been doing to keep busy over the last two months? I would love to hear from you so post below.

Card Series featuring “Made for Each Other”

Today marks the start of a new series on my blog- the card series. I would love to say that this will be a weekly series but the reality is that once the school year starts here in Canada it is very difficult to keep up with that. More likely, it will be monthly BUT since I have already completed my first three series you may see more of this over my summer holiday.

What is the card series? A place where you will find inspiration and ideas specific to a stamp set featured in our current Idea Books. Today I am happy to introduce you to “Made for Each Other”- this stamp set is adorable and spoke to me on many levels. I hope you enjoy each card made with this set- other product used in the card will be listed below each project.

What is a Card Buffet?

One of my FAVOURITE ways to share what I do is with a Card Buffet.

These events are fun. They don’t require participants to have previous knowledge of paper crafting or any fancy supplies. You just need to want to have fun and own some glue!

Check out all the Card Buffet details in this video!

Forever and Always Cut Above Kit

Have you seen our Cut Above Layout Kits? They are affectionately known as the 15 minute miracle and the Forever and Always kit is one of the two we currently have in stock. With this one kit you can get a two page layout and four pages of pocket scrapbooking completed in 15 minutes and all you need to add is your photos and glue! These kits come prepared for quick and beautiful pages- pieces are pre-cut, accessories are stickers or die-cuts that just need to be popped of the carrier sheet. In the end you have pages that are in your album in minutes!

Now I will admit to ‘getting crafty’ with my kit. The paper is so pretty and not one that we carry in any other format so I just had to create some cards! I added the ‘My Girl’ complements (from this set I just used the gold shimmer pieces) and they added the perfect bits for my cards!
